Proof of Residency and School Enrollment Forms are NOT required to be uploaded during registration. Please skip these questions and if/when this information is required you will be contacted directly.

Baseball is a program for both boys and girls ages 5-12 yrs of age.

T-Ball & Farm A: $150
AA, AAA & Majors: $185

General Registration Fees: (Feb.1 - Feb.28)

AA, AAA & Majors: $210

*A $20 field use fee will be added to all registrations. This fee is paid by SLL directly to the town Parks and Rec department.

2026 Baseball Age Chart

Age 5

Birth Year = Sep - Dec 2020 & Jan - Aug 2021
T-Ball: All 5-year-olds will be placed in T-Ball regardless of whether they have prior baseball experience.

Age 6

Birth Year = Sep - Dec 2019 & Jan - Aug 2020
T-Ball: Players who are age 6 with no prior Little League experience can choose to play either T-Ball or Farm A. We encourage parents to make the appropriate choice for their player. Stronger, more mature players should register for Farm A, while players who need to learn the fundamentals and rules of the game should register for T-Ball. 6 yr olds should NOT play T-Ball twice unless approved by Player Agent. Please email the Player Agent should you have questions about division placement.
Farm A: Players who are age 6 and have played T-ball in an official Little League program will be placed in Farm A.

Age 7

Birth Year = Sep - Dec 2018 & Jan - Aug 2019
Farm A: All players who are age 7 will be placed in Farm A.

Age 8

Birth Year = Sep - Dec 2017 & Jan - Aug 2018
Farm AA: All players who are age 8 will be placed in AA.

Age 9

Birth Year = Sep - Dec 2016 & Jan - Aug 2017
9 yr olds who are new to SLL should attend AAA evaluations, regardless of division preference. Register your player for AA and choose AAA evaluations in the questionnaire.
Farm AA: The majority of 9-year-olds will play AA. Returning 9 yr olds who wish to play AA should not attend evaluations.
AAA: 9 yr olds with AA experience (spring or fall) are eligible to be drafted in AAA. To be eligible to play in AAA, a 9-year-old must attend AAA evaluations (except under extraordinary circumstances, which are subject to player agent approval). Any 9-yr old who does not attend evaluations or is not selected for the AAA draft will be placed in AA. Register your player for AA and choose AAA evaluations in the questionnaire.

Age 10:

Birth Year = Sept - Dec 2015 & Jan - Aug 2016
10 yr olds who are new to SLL should attend evaluations for the division they wish to play (AAA or Majors).
AAA: The majority of 10-year-olds will play AAA. Returning 10 yr olds who wish to play AAA should not attend evaluations.
Majors: 10 yr olds with AAA experience are eligible to be drafted in Majors. To be eligible to play in Majors, a 10-year-old must attend Majors evaluations (except under extraordinary circumstances, which are subject to player agent approval). Any 10-yr old who does not attend evaluations or is not selected for the Majors draft will be placed in AAA. Register your player for AAA and choose Majors evaluations in the questionnaire.

Age 11:

Birth Year = Sept - Dec 2014 & Jan - Aug 2015
Historically, roughly half of 11 yr olds are placed in AAA.
11 yr olds who are new to SLL should attend evaluations for the division they wish to play (AAA or Majors).
AAA: Returning 11 yr olds who wish to play AAA should not attend evaluations.
Majors: 11-year-olds who wish to play Majors should attend Majors evaluations (except under extraordinary circumstances, which are subject to player agent approval). Any 11-yr old who does not attend evaluations or is not selected for the majors’ draft will be placed in AAA. Register your player for AAA and choose Majors evaluations in the questionnaire.

Age 12:

Birth Year = Sept - Dec 2013 & Jan - Aug 2014
12 yr olds who are new to SLL should attend Majors evaluations.
Majors: All 12-year-olds will be placed in Majors. Returning 12 yr olds should not attend evaluations.

Division assignments will be announced after evaluations and before the draft and team announcements.

Age 4

Birth Year = 2021
T-Ball: All 4-year-olds will be placed in T-Ball regardless of whether they have prior softball experience.

Age 5

Birth Year = 2020
T-Ball: All 5-year-olds with no softball experience should register for T-Ball. 5 yr olds should NOT play T-Ball twice unless approved by Player Agent.
Farm A: 5 yr olds who played T-Ball as a 4 yr old should register for Farm A.

Age 6

Birth Year = 2019
Farm A: All players who are age 6 will be placed in Farm A.

Age 7

Birth Year = 2018
Farm A or AA: 7 yr olds have the choice of playing either Farm A or AA. We encourage parents to make the appropriate choice for their player. Stronger, more mature players should register for AA, while players who may need more practice learning the fundamentals and rules should register for Farm A.
As a shorthand rule to help parents, if your daughter can play catch comfortably from 15 ft (isn’t afraid of the ball, catches >50%, can throw with reasonable accuracy) then consider AA. If she is afraid of the ball or hasn’t yet learned to throw with accuracy or power, Farm A would be a better choice.

Age 8

Birth Year = 2017
Farm AA: All players who are age 8 will be placed in AA.

Age 9

Birth Year = 2016

Age 14:

Birth Year = 2011
14 yr olds who are new to SLL should attend evaluations.
Juniors: All 14-year-olds will be placed in Juniors. Returning 14 yr olds should not attend evaluations.
