2024 Fall Softball

2024 Fall Softball

This program is open to players from Simsbury as well as surrounding towns.

Cost is $135

The fall softball program is for players who are softball age 7-14 (birth years 2010-2017)

based on the 2025 Little League Age Chart for softball.

Below is a brief description of the divisions. 

Note: The game and practice schedules will not be determined until teams are formed. 
The schedules from last year are described below to give players an idea of the commitment.

AA Division
Birth years 2016-2017

Last year: Games played on Saturday afternoons; One practice/week

AAA Division
Birth years 2014-2015

Last year: Games played on Sunday afternoons; One practice/week

Majors Division

Birth years 2012-2013

Last year: Games played on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. One practice/week.

Juniors Division
Birth years 2010-2011

Last year: Games played on Saturday afternoons. One practice/week.


Refund Policy: 

No refunds will be issued once teams have been formed. Exceptions to this policy may be requested of the SLL Vice President (Mike Germano [email protected]) for special circumstances such as medical injury. Please note that choosing not to play or moving to another program do not qualify for a refund.

2024 Fall Baseball

Cost is $135.

Registration is open residents of the town of Simsbury as well as surrounding towns.

Fall season will be based on Spring 2025 Baseball Age.

Baseball age can be determined using the Baseball Age Chart .

AA Division  

Baseball Ages 8-9: DOB 9/1/2015-8/31/2017

ALL 8 yr olds and most 9 yr olds will be placed in this division.

AAA Division

Baseball Ages 9-11: DOB 9/1/2013-8/31/2016

Any 9 year old who plans to be evaluated for AAA in the Spring 2025 season should register for this division.

ALL 10 yr olds will be placed in this division.

Any 11 yr old who does NOT plan to be evaluated for majors in the Spring should register for this division.

Majors Division

Baseball Ages 11-12: DOB 9/1/2012-8/31/2014

Any 11 yr old who plans to be evaluated for Majors in the Spring 2025 season should register for this division.

ALL 12 yr olds will be placed in this division.

PLEASE NOTE:

Registering for a division that your player will have to be evaluated for in the spring does not guarantee that division for the spring.

All players will have to attend evaluations to be considered for playing up in the Spring Season.

Babe Ruth Baseball

Players who are baseball age 13 for the Spring 2025 season should register for the
Babe Ruth League. This is a separate organization and the registration is not through Simsbury Little League. Babe Ruth is structured
similar to SLL and is a recreational league where everyone who registers makes a
team. Babe Ruth has a developmental program to get kids used to the larger field in the
fall, so it is most beneficial for kids to move up at this time so that they are ready for the

Teams announced: August 23rd

Practices start: Aug. 24th
Games begin: Sep. 6th
Playoffs begin: Oct. 4th

Championship Weekend: Oct. 12th & 13th
 * Days may shift due to rain outs

Game/Practice Days
AA: Saturday Game: 12:30pm
    Sunday Game: 12pm
    Practice: 1 weekday night, nights vary

AAA: Saturday Game: 3:30pm
      Sunday Game: 3pm
      Thursday Game: 6pm
      Practice: 1 weekday night, nights vary

Majors: Saturday Game: 6:30pm
       Wednesday Game: 6pm
       Friday Game: 6pm
      Practice: Sunday Practice (times vary)

Schedule is approximate and subject to change depending on weather and number of players registered.
