Congratulations to the Simsbury Little League 12U All Stars on winning another D6 banner!  

 

This is the first time in history that any program has swept all three divisions in the district for two years in a row!

 

For the returning 11U state finalists, this was no easy task. They had to battle through pool play after losing their first 2 games and losing their first game of double elimination to a tough Granby team.  The team battled through 6 elimination games to earn their banner including a two-day rain delay game against its rival Granby.

 

A come from behind win versus their 10U district winning rival Avon on Monday night capped it off for the team and secured their historic comeback. 

 

The 12’s move on to sectionals with game 1 on Saturday vs Wallingford, and Game 2 vs Shelton. 

Games are Saturday 7/13 @1:00 pm, Sun 7/14 @1:00 pm, Monday 7/15 @6:30 pm, and title game on Wed 7/17 @6:30 pm

All games will be held at Peter J Foley LL in Naugatuck CT
