For the first time in 17 years all 3 Simsbury All Star teams have won their division's District 6 Title! All teams were undefeated in district play, going 7-0, 21-0 for Simsbury!

U10
Simsbury
defeated Avon in a decisive 14-0 victory! Sean Beaulieu pitched a no-hitter and
was backed up by big hits from Will Haberman and Jamie Maggiore. Will was
2-for-3 with a double, single and three RBI’s. Jamie was 2-for-3 with three
RBI’s. Brendan Hodgson and Jacob Charpinsky also had doubles. With great
defense and timely hitting the 10 yr olds were able to win the district title
and advance to sectionals!
U11
Simsbury beat Canton 9-2 to clinch the District Title.
Quinn Leonard hit a 3-run homer in the 5th to blow the game wide open, and
Luke Lefebvre threw 74 pitches with 5 strikeouts, no walks and allowing only 2
hits in 6 innings. Simsbury had eight of their nine hits in the fifth
inning, with Neil Sullivan and Aiden Brower hitting RBI singles. Simsbury
will now represent our district as they go on to fight for the Connecticut
Section 2 Title.
U12
Simsbury’s
U12’s beat E.Granby/Granby 2-0! Kareum Skovron-Rasheed had 12 strikeouts in 5
innings, with Ryne VanDerwalker coming in to close in the 6th with 3 strikeouts.
Owen Trythall started off the 1st inning with a double to RF, then reached
third on a wild pitch, eventually scoring on an RBI by Ryne VanDerwalker. In
the 3rd inning Armani Dermanouelian hit a single and Keenan Altiere drew a
walk. Armani was able to advance to third on a fly ball to RF by Owen. A delay
steal by Keenan to draw the throw to second then allowed Armani to score.
Simsbury
will go on to represent our District and play for the Section 2 title.
