2025 Fall Baseball

• Registration closes Aug. 13th.
• Cost is $135.
• Registration is open to residents of the town of Simsbury as well as surrounding towns.
• Fall baseball is only offered for baseball ages 8-12. We do not offer T-ball or Farm A divisions in the fall.
• There are no try outs in the fall.
• Fall season will be based on Spring 2026 Baseball Age.
• Baseball age can be determined using the 2026 Baseball Age Chart .

AA Division  

Baseball Ages 8-9: DOB 9/1/2016-8/31/2018

ALL 8 yr olds and most 9 yr olds will be placed in this division.

AAA Division

Baseball Ages 9-11: DOB 9/1/2014-8/31/2017

Any 9 yr old who plans to be evaluated for AAA in the Spring season should register for this division.

ALL 10 yr olds will be placed in this division.

Any 11 yr old who does NOT plan to be evaluated for majors in the Spring should register for this division.

Majors Division

Baseball Ages 11-12: DOB 9/1/2013-8/31/2015

Any 11 yr old who plans to be evaluated for Majors in the Spring season should register for this division.

ALL 12 yr olds will be placed in this division.

PLEASE NOTE:

Registering for a division that your player will have to be evaluated for in the spring does not guarantee that division for the spring.

All players will have to attend Spring evaluations to be considered for playing up in the Spring Season.

Majors:
Saturday Game: 6:30pm
Wednesday Game: 6pm
Friday Game: 6pm
Practice: Sunday Practice (times vary)

Refund Policy: 

No refunds will be issued once teams have been formed. Exceptions to this policy may be requested of the SLL President for special circumstances such as medical injury. Please note that choosing not to play or moving to another program does not qualify for a refund.

Fall Baseball Options for ages 13+

Simsbury currently offers 2 options for baseball age 13 and older players, who want to continue playing baseball and want to stay in town.

Babe Ruth Baseball

Players who are baseball ages 13-16 for the Spring 2026 season can register for the Babe Ruth League. This is a separate organization with its own registration. Babe Ruth is structured like SLL and is a recreational league where everyone who registers makes a team. Babe Ruth has a developmental program to get kids used to the larger field, so it is most beneficial for kids to move up at this time so that they are ready for the spring season.

Sabercats

Sabercats is a more competitive team baseball ages 13 and 14 year olds, and is run under the Babe Ruth umbrella. They also teach kids fundamentals and work on player development, while also offering more competitive play and preparing kids for the next level. This team is more selective and holds tryouts to select their rosters.
